adidas Cambodia strengthens esports presence with Orange Esports

The sports brand announces its exclusive sponsorship with Orange Esports’ PUBG Mobile team.

It is yet another exciting time to witness the world of sports meeting esports. For the first time in Asia Pacific, adidas Cambodia announced its exclusive sponsorship with Orange Esports’ PUBG Mobile team, Critical.Geniuses. The team recently finished top 8 in Tencent Corp’s global PUBG Mobile Cup Open 2019.

adidas aims to showcase the brand’s support and commitment towards esports, leveraging on 2020’s prominent rise of mobile esports.

“For decades, adidas has been supporting world class athletes and we are honoured to be placed in the same league,” said Orange Esports Managing Director, Dr Ian Tan Wei Lun. He added that adidas and Orange Esports share the same goals, having the power to touch and change lives through esports.

Critical.Geniuses sports a fully Cambodian roster that is sponsored by Orange Esports. The team consists of Meas Kinhkan, Sean SokSakada, Ing Sopheakkdey, Ly Saly and Lim Vanna.
