Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 - Are You In?

Posted by George Wong on July 24, 2020

It's been a while since Call of Duty: Mobile has been in the spotlight locally, but this reminder should change that. Activision and Garena have recently shared a Facebook post about the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020. Open to all players, this tournament gives CoDM players a shot at the $1,000,000 prize pool - a fair chunk of change, especially for newcomers!

The rules are simple, with the only requirement being you ranked Veteran or higher. Once you register, all you have to do is play ten multiplayer ranked matches in a weekend to earn tournament points. These points are based on individual wins and your current rank - the higher your rank, the more points you receive for a win. If you reach 80 points within those 10 matches, you qualify to the second stage. Also, you have to be playing on a mobile device, and not a desktop emulator.

Once you reach the second stage, you get to form a squad with other qualified players. Here is where the real test begins. The top 16 teams will then advance to the ESL MSP Championship for a shot at the prize pool. Sounds simple enough? What are you waiting for? There are three more solo qualifier periods starting this weekend.
