This is an effort to encourage gamers from Malaysia and Singapore to stay home during the COVID-19 Movement Control Order.

In collaboration with eGG Network (that’s us!), IO Esports is organising a PUBG MOBILE Community Cup to keep the gamers entertained by encouraging them to stay home during Malayisa’s COVID-19 Movement Control Order.

The community cup will be open for 160 teams from Malaysia and Singapore in the qualifying round. Eight teams from the qualifiers will be joined by the 24 PMPL MY/SG invited teams during the Qualifier Finals.

This Community Cup features RM10,000 in cash prizes. Registration begins today and ends on 23 March. Book your spot early now at

The tournament is divided into three stages. During the Online Qualifier (held on 25 March), the 160 registered teams will be split into eight groups of 20. Each group will play four matches, and the group champions will advance to the Qualifier Finals (held on 26 March).

The eight group champions will be joined by 24 PMPL teams and divided into two groups of 16. The top eight teams from each group will then advance to the Finals (held on 27 March) where the top 16 teams will play six matches to determine the champion.

The prize pool breakdown is as follow:

1st place: RM4,000
2nd place: RM2,000
3rd place: RM1,200
4th place: RM800
5th place – 8th place: RM500 each

The PUBG Mobile Professional League (PMPL) MY/SG 2020 was postponed due to the  Movement Control Order announcement made by the Malaysian Government to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading.
