Facebook Gaming

Esports/Gaming Talent Handler

Job Scope

• Scout, recruit and engage quality content creators/talents to eGG Network for Facebook Gaming.
• Monitor content creators/talents' live streams daily and prepare reports of research and findings of Gaming creators’ performance.
• Attend to content creators/talents' day-to-day issues and follow up with both Facebook Team and content creators/talents until the issue is solved.
• Develop strategies and plan to build up our content creators/talents.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
• Working Hours: 10AM – 5PM (very syok, don’t have to jam with others on the way home).
• Resourceful with great interpersonal and communication skills, with an outgoing personality.
• Highly motivated and driven team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel.
• Positive outlook.

eGG Network Video Department

Motion Graphics Designer

Job Scope

• Prepare and animate graphics packages for TV/Tournaments.
• Illustrate and design artwork.
• To conceptualise and produce animations.
• Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements.
• Support graphic design team & any other duties as required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Motion Graphic or any relevant certification.
• Preferably at least one year working experience in the creative industry but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too.
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects and have a decent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Proactive, creative and a team player.
• Able to deliver completed work within deadlines.

Producer 

Job Scope

• Read, research and assess ideas and completed scripts.
• Budgeting.
• Pull together all the strands of creative and practical talent involved in the project to create a team.
• Control the production’s budget and allocate resources.
• Organise shooting schedules – dependent on the type of producer role and availability of support staff.
• Hold regular meetings with the director to discuss characters and scenes.
• Act as a sounding board for the director.
• Troubleshoot problems that arise during production.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice and health and safety laws.
• Supervise the progress of the project from production through to post-production.
• Deliver the finished production on time and within budget.

Requirements

Production Assistant

Job Scope

• Support eGG Network's in-house productions or client projects.
• Perform role as production crew, including operating camera equipment and/or other software or hardware.
• Assist producers with the planning and execution of productions.
• Perform league operations or marshal functions for tournaments run or produced by eGG Network.

• Diploma/Degree in film/video production or any relevant certification.

eGG Marketing

Writer / Senior Writer, Editorial (Bahasa Malaysia)

Job Scope

• Drive the planning and creation of content across editorial and social media, with a key focus on Bahasa Malaysia editorial content. Be the main writer of BM articles on the eGG Network website. 
• Devise in-depth content strategy, direction, calendar, and story angles according to key happenings in the local esports and mobile gaming space.
• Actively pursue storytelling opportunities and maximise content mileage across channels (editorial, social media, video). Chase and execute content ideas that deliver maximum impact in audience growth, reach, engagement, website traffic. 
• Mainly responsible for editorial KPIs and metrics, such as unique visitors, page views, and more. 
• Contribute to editorial articles and social media post creation in day-to-day operations. 
• Develop sponsored/branded content for client projects as and when required. 
• Be the main point of contact with the website dev team and handle all website-related matters, such as design tweaks, fixes, maintenance, vendor engagement and coordination. 

Requirements

• 2-3 years of working experience as a writer/journalist/reporter in similar fields is preferred. 
• Avid esports fan, familiar with the happenings in Malaysia’s esports scene, with a solid and in-depth understanding of any major mobile gaming/esports titles. 
• Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Reliable team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment, able to handle pressure and deadlines.
• An initiator/self-starter; you do not merely wait to receive instruction, you are always hungry for ideas and looking for ways to move things forward.
• Creative; you think outside the box when it comes to content.
• Teachable; you believe that the more you know, the more you know you don’t know. And that motivates you to keep learning.
• Must be willing to immerse and embed yourself in the community/game/esports scene as and when required. 
• Someone who pays extreme attention to detail.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
