Great news for Southeast Asia esports fans as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Indonesia Season 5 (MPL-ID) Playoffs will be available for LIVE viewing on eGG Network. Fans can catch all the exciting MPL-ID action via the official english broadcast from 10 to 12 April. Viewers will be treated to the best of Indonesia’s MLBB teams duking it out for a share of the US$300,000 prize pool. Reigning M1 World Champions EVOS Legends and first runner-up RRQ Hoshi will also be in the mix to compete for the top prize.
Fans can tune in to eGG Network on 10 and 11 April, 1:30 p.m. and 12 April, 3:30 p.m. via the following platforms:

“The MPL-ID Playoffs is one of the biggest esports events around the region,” said Astro and eGG Network Head of Sports, CK Lee. “We are excited to present the official English live broadcast on eGG Network together with casters GideonQ and Qontra. Although sports all over the globe have taken a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re glad that esports continues to thrive with its digital nature and passionate community.” He also expressed Astro’s hopes of the tournament’s heavyweight lineup being able to keep fans thoroughly entertained, with everyone presently staying indoors to fight the pandemic together.
The MPL-ID Playoffs will see Indonesian teams Alter Ego Esports, Bigetron Alpha, EVOS Legends (reigning MPL-ID Season 4 and M1 World Champions), Genflix Aerowolf, ONIC Esports, and RRQ Hoshi (MPL-ID Season 4 runner-up) battle it out for the Rp 1 billion (US$71,500) Grand Prize and a chance to represent Indonesia in the upcoming MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC). Teams AURA and Geek Fam did not make it into the Playoffs after finishing the Regular Season with the least points.

He expressed that MPL-ID continues to reach new heights as they have achieved a record of over 600,000 peak concurrent viewers in Indonesia this season. Lucas added that the league is looking beyond Indonesia to the rest of the world and are happy working together with eGG Network since the first-ever MPL to progress to the next phase of MLBB esports together.
