Diablo Immortal Closed Beta Begins Today
After a long period of silence, it looks like Diablo Immortal is one step closer to its release. Blizzard announced today that the closed beta test for its upcoming mobile action RPG is finally here. The new version of the game adds The Necromancer and a host of other features such as a 30x1 battle called Challenge of the Immortal and Ladders to the 8v8 Battleground PvP system. One new feature that has been greatly anticipated is support for controllers - you can finally play the game without using the finicky controls of a touchscreen!
Optional In-Game Purchases has also been enabled, letting you deck out your characters during this testing period. However, take note that all progress will be lost at the end of the Closed Beta and all purchases will be converted to equivalent in-game credits and available at Diablo Immortal at launch. No word on when the beta period will end but it's said to last a few weeks so that players will have enough time to go through the available content.
As far as we know, the closed beta isn't available in SEA yet (we've reached out for more details) but it should be enabled at some time in the near future. In the meantime you can check out the trailer detailing the game's beta:
