PMPL-MY/SG S4 Finals Begin Tomorrow

Posted by George Wong on September 23, 2021

After what seemed like forever, the break after the regular season of the PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia Singapore Season 4 is over! Starting tomorrow, we'll see the best sixteen teams square off against each other over the next three days to determine the best team of the whole league. All the points have been wiped clean and the teams will start with a fresh slate this weekend. Here's the list of teams competing:

  • Axis RedONE
  • Team Secret
  • Farang Lejund
  • SEM9.GANK
  • Team SMG
  • 4Rivals
  • EVOS ViP
  • TABAH NSEA
  • Geek Fam
  • Al Ikhlas R2K
  • RSG MY
  • HomeBois
  • VXM FANX
  • Team Whales
  • Wulf Arov
  • Yoodo Alliance

While everyone starts from zero, their performance during the regular week shouldn't be discounted. Axis RedONE, Team Secret and Farang Lejund have proven themselves to be a class above the rest and are looking like the heavy favourites coming into the finals. Hot on their heels are SEM9.GANK, Team SMG, and 4Rivals, who have been playing very well this season.

Trailing behind are EVOS ViP, TABAH NSEA, Geek Fam, Al Ikhlas R2K, RSG MY and HomeBois. They've been doing alright but will need to step it up if they want a shot at the gold. VXM FANX, Team Whales, Wulf Arov have shown glimmers of hope, but haven't been very consistent. The real wild card is Yoodo Alliance - they've had an extremely shaky start and barely made it to the final weekend. If they want to prove that they can hang with the big boys, this tournament will be their one chance to shine.

Team Bosskurr almost made it here, but their failure to qualify for the third Super Weekend sealed the nail in their coffin. YSX, Anti Circle, NSP Astra had no chance, with the latter two failing to qualify for a single Super Weekend.

In addition to their cut of the USD 50,400 prize pool, the top 3 teams will qualify directly to the PMPL SEA League 4. They will also obtain points towards their PMGC standings that will allow them to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021. Lots of points and money on the line, and we can hardly wait!

The PMPL-MY/SG S4 Finals will start tomorrow at 2 PM (GMT+8), 24th September and conclude on Sunday, 26th September. PMPL-MY/SG S4 will be broadcast live on the official Facebook PagePUBG Mobile EsportsYouTubeWeTV and Esports Fight Club.
