We already know all the upgrades that will come with the latest upcoming PUBG Mobile 1.0 update (or if you don't, here lies all the info), except for one mystery feature ... until now, which turned out to be New Erangel.

The final puzzle piece will feature an overhaul that gives PUBG Mobile's most popular map a face lift, with improvements being made on visual, performance and gameplay aspects. These include:

New map elements

To introduce new strategic options for players, the likes of bunkers, trenches and abandoned tanks, will be added to give players more protection, hiding spots or even obstacles in their pursuit for the next Chicken Dinner.

Rebalanced loot

Hot spots such as Sosnovka Military Base and Mylta Power have been given extra tweaks to their resources to ensure fair game for every player. You can also expect more and better items spawning in off-the-beaten-path areas, so that no one falls behind in terms of gear.

Building renovations

A number of structures and shelters have been, well, restructured to freshen up Erangel. Expect your tactics to be different this time around when New Erangel arrives.

Ultra HD

Little explanation is needed, but if you have a powerful enough device, this mode is the ultimate way to experience PUBG Mobile. In-game visuals like lighting, models and texture quality, reflections, environmental details and more have been tuned to the max for an ultra-realistic gameplay.

New Erangel arrives on 8 September, alongside Version 1.0.
