Posted by George Wong on March 4, 2022

It looks like they're starting the team selection process for esports at the upcoming Hanoi SEA Games. The prestigious multi-sport event which was supposed to take place last December will be held a couple of months from now. This weekend, we'll find out which team will be representing the Jalur Gemilang in Vietnam this May.

Here are the 16 teams competing:

  • GEEK FAM
  • Clutch Guerilla
  • 4Rivals
  • Axis redONE
  • Team Haq
  • Team SMG
  • RSG
  • EVOS VIP
  • SEM9
  • TABAH NSEA
  • Homebois
  • BossR2K
  • Genexus
  • FARANG LEJUND
  • MAB ESPORTS
  • DINGOZ ESPORTS

The teams will be playing 5 matches daily, from 4-6 March (3 PM onwards), for one of two slots at the event.

The Hanoi SEA Games 2021 will take place from 12-23 May 2022 this year, and will feature athletes from Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Timor-Leste and of course, Vietnam. With Malaysia being one of the top PUBG Mobile regions in the world (we had two teams in PMGC 2021 after all!), expectations are high on the lads taking the gold for this title.

The Malaysia PUBG MOBILE qualifiers for Hanoi SEA Games 2021 will be live-streamed on Malaysia Esports Federation’s (MESF) Facebook as well as PUBG MOBILE’s Facebook and Youtube platforms. Tune in at 3PM onwards from 4th to 6th March 2022 to join in the excitement and cheer for your favourite teams.
