Valorant: 1.06 patch fixes Air Shotgun, plus stories behind Killjoy & Glitchpop
For Valorant players who've been utilising the "Air Shotgun" technique, Riot Games has some bad news for them - all shotguns have been revised to have decreased accuracy when firing while in the air, with the spread penalty increased from 0.5 to 1.25.
"While shotguns are doing well in situations they are supposed to, there's been overly frustrating moments where people are accurate with these weapons while in the air," wrote Valorant comms associate, Jeff Landa. The full 1.06 patch notes, which list every bug fixes and quality of life changes, can be found on the official Valorant website.
In other related news, two behind-the-scenes stories were shared recently, which tells the story of how Agents are designed and the birth of Killjoy in the latest Dev Diary ...
And another that revolves around the "Playful but Deadly" Glitchpop weapon skins, which was "born out of a misunderstanding and grew into one of Valorant's most loud, colorful and bold designs."
