The Season 4 champions’ roster may have changed, but the Singaporeans are back for their second helping of victory this season.

New season, new possibilities. With registration for season 5 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia and Singapore (MPL-MY/SG) currently underway, there’s bound to be a resurgence of news updates to pop up on your news feed for the highly-anticipated MLBB tournament. Hot on the heels of the roster announcement for the directly invited teams, comes the last puzzle piece that was missing from the aforementioned news: EVOS SG’s latest roster.

Retaining half of last season’s players, here is the confirmed line-up of the MPL-MY/SG Season 4 champions:

Good to have you back

  • Chong “Soul” Ru Chyi
  • Robert Boon “OhDeerBambi” Wei Xing
  • Akihiro “JPL” Furusawa

Welcome on board

  • Lim “Lun” Sheng Lun, previously with Resurgence and has been competing in MPL-MY/SG since Season 2;
  • Javon Ham “Fossa” Kao Yee, a former Notorious Villains player who debuted in Season 3;
  • Ng “Pokemon” Jun Hong, a newcomer who’s been quickly rising through the Singaporean ranks.

Ong “Aeon” Wei Sheng – who was the caption for Resurgence – will also be taking over as the team’s new coach.

EVOS SG won 3-2 against Malaysia’s Todak in the grand final of MPL-MY/SG Season 4.

Season 5’s upcoming qualifiers will determine which five teams – two from Malaysia and three from Singapore – are worthy enough to face off against the four formidable Malaysian teams and the sole Singaporean powerhouse, who have gained direct entry into the Regular Season:

  • EVOS SG (Season 4 Champion)
  • Todak (Season 4 first runner-up as a newcomer)
  • Axis Esports (Season 4 fourth place)
  • Geek Fam (Season 3 Champion, and season 4 fifth/sixth place)
  • Team Bosskurr (Season 4 seventh/eighth place)

The Malaysian qualifiers will commence on 7 – 9 Feb, with the Singaporean qualifiers will happening from 15 – 16 Feb.
