Futbolist may have missed out on last season’s PUBG Mobile Club Open Global Finals, but that’s all in the past now, as they finally hoisted the digital champions trophy of the PUBG Mobile World League 2020 Spring Split West Division Season Zero. The Turkish squad managed to rack up a whopping total of 298 points, comprising two Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCDs) and an astounding 137 kills.

Futbolist overcame the likes of Loops (the #1 team during League Play) and KoninaPower, who placed second and third with 289 and 282 points, respectively. The winning team return home with the grand prize of US$116,500, while the rest settled for US$107,500 (Loops) and US$27,000 (KoninaPower) in cash prize.

To make their winnings even sweeter, Futbolist’s Solkay even bagged the title of MVP players in the finals, granting him another US$3,000 to sweeten the deal. With a total of 8330 damage and 44 kills under his belt, it’s a well-deserved honour for the exceptional in-game leader/rusher.

That concludes both divisions of PMWL 2020 Season Zero, and everyone’s due for a short break before Fall Split arrives, which is going to be quite different from previous installments. Time will tell how much these changes will affect the play style of our favourite players.
