Geek Fam's Unique Deal with Xorn Allows Him to be Loaned

Geek Fam has been making a lot of announcements recently - the new PUBG Mobile female squad, the Free Fire squad, and now we have one more to add to the table. The organization announced today that it has signed a special deal with Xorn, one of their key players who's been with them since Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia/Singapore Season 2.

While the veteran player will still belong to the Geek Fam organization, this deal will allow him to be on loan to other teams who are interested in having him as part of their roster. Xorn had this to say:

“I look forward to this arrangement as I love the club (Geek Fam) and would love to play a bigger role in it in the future. However, I feel there’s a lot more room for me to grow as a player and I would love to experience a player life abroad. Indonesia has always been a destination that has been on my mind due to the competitive levels of their MPL Franchise League and is a place I’m heavily leaning towards. I also would like to thank Geek Fam for nurturing me as a player these past two and (sic) half years. I trust in the management decision made by Geek Fam and look forward to the outcome of this season’s transfer window.”

Some top tier clubs have already started negotiating for the king of taunts to be on their team, but nothing has been finalized at this point in time. It's not often you see a player sign a long term contract just to be loaned to another organization, which means we can see Xorn returning to Geek Fam in the future - it's only a matter of when. This contract also ensures stability for the multirole player if things don't work out post-Geek Fam. A very interesting deal, in our opinion.

As for the rest of Geek Fam - Artz, Dominus, Ozora Veki, Feekz and Rumpel - their contracts with the organization have also been renewed, but the players will take on a more developmental role. Makes sense since the organization recently announced that the MLBB squad are recruiting, though we wonder how many of the current players will be active next season.

Looks like there's going to be a huge shakeup for MPL-MY/SG S7, stay tuned to eGG Network and we'll keep you posted!
