Posted by George Wong on November 29, 2021

With the year coming to an end, there aren't many large esports events left before we say goodbye to 2021. One of these events remaining is going to be the first Global Esports Games 2021 - the flagship event of the Global Esports Federation. Featuring over a hundred players (men and women) from 40 different countries, they will be competing against each other in Dota 2, eFootball 2022 and Street Fighter V: Champion Edition.

  • Dota 2 - Open (4 teams), All-Women (4 teams)
  • eFootball 2022 - 1v1 (64 individuals)
  • Street Fighter V: Champion Edition - 1v1 (64 individuals)

In addition to the aforementioned tournaments, there will also be the GEFcon exhibition taking place the day before the tournament, featuring talks about gaming and health, women in esports, investing in esports, the metaverse, and more.

Unfortunately, there won't be any offline audience, so those of you in Singapore won't be able to catch the action in person. In the meantime, if you'd like to find out more about the tournament and events, you can check out the official website for more information.

GEG 2021 will be streamed live on the following platforms: YouTube, Facebook, TikTok.
