Leon finally wears a suit?! Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness reveals voice cast, and new story details and images
After months of silence since its first teaser, Capcom has finally shed more light on its first ever Netflix CG (computer generated) anime series based on the reputable franchise, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
The biggest standout news we got was that leading man/woman Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield will be voiced by the same voice actors in 2019's Resident Evil 2 Remake, Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello.
RE: Infinite Darkness will see fan favourites Leon and Claire reuniting once more to battle a zombie outbreak in the White House and untangle the mysteries surrounding a strange drawing that may hint at a new form of the virus.
The newest RE endeavour is produced and overseen by series veteran Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who not only had his hands on some of RE's game titles (RE1, 2 and 4), but also all of the RE animated features, including RE: Degeneration, RE: Damnation and RE: Vendetta.
Plus, the studio behind anime series Lupin the 3rd and Detective Conan, TMS Entertainment, will be leading its production.
Netflix will also be presenting a panel to introduce RE: Infinite Darkness in AnimeJapan, one of the world's biggest anime events in Japan.
No release date has been announced for RE: Infinite Darkness, other than it'll "launch exclusively on Netflix later this year".
