LEVEL UP KL 2020 Kicks Off This Weekend

Following the footsteps of their events held earlier this year, MDEC has announced that this year’s edition of LEVEL UP KL will also be a fully-virtual event. Publicly announced at a press conference this morning, Southeast Asia’s premier digital games festival will run from 10 October to 22 November 2020.

This year, the event is expected to attract over 50,000 gamers, developers, distributors and visitors from around the world. Since it is now online-only, the conference will feature a schedule that’s packed to the brim with activities such as the SEA Game Jam Online, Business Connections, Industry Conferences, Masterclass workshops, and Virtual Career Fairs. Game developers will also be showcasing their latest creations and will be competing for the coveted SEA Game Awards.

Since it started in 2015, LEVEL UP KL has grown from 372 attendees to 1,791 last year. With this year’s edition being fully accessible through the internet, we can expect those numbers to skyrocket.

There’s plenty of content for anyone and everyone interested in the games industry, check out the activity schedule below. Be sure to register yourself for events by visiting the official website. See you guys there!

About George "goodnewsgeorge" Wong

Dota 2, In Bruges, Adventure Time, Breaking Bad, and Dance Gavin Dance are some of his favourite things. A PC gamer at heart, he’s trying real hard to get past missing his mouse and mechanical keyboard while mobile gaming. He spends his free time, writing, reading, and coming up with crappy comics and songs.
