The best of the best Dota 2 professional teams across Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (EU/CIS) will soon be finalised in the Dota Summit 13 Online, as the Playoffs will finally happen from tomorrow onwards.
The Valve-supported tournament features a total prize pool of US$250,000 split three-way between the trio of regions, with US$50,000 allotted for EU/CIS. A total of 30 teams (10 per region) have been battling it out for a spot in the Playoffs.
Here’s every team who qualified for the Dota Summit 13 Online Playoffs so far:
Group Stage of the Americas leg was the first to conclude earlier this morning, whereas SEA will wrap theirs up later today, followed by EU/CIS on Friday.
Unlike the first two regions which adopted a single-round robin best-of-two format, the EU/CIS Group Stage utilises the GSL style, splitting teams into a pair of groups with a best-of-three match format – only the top three of each group will advance to the Playoffs.
The Dota Summit 13 Online Playoffs will begin with the SEA Playoffs from tomorrow (4 November) onwards at 5PM (GMT +8).
