Live on eGG: LoL Worlds 2020 Quarter-finals begin tomorrow

Oct 14, 2020 Bryan "soupykambing" Terng

After a week of Group Stage, the stage is set for the final few showdowns of the world’s biggest League of Legends (LoL) tournament, Worlds 2020. The top 2 teams of each group, from A to D, are all that remain in the ring, vying for the world championship title.

Here are the eight teams who advanced to the Quarter-finals:

  • Top Esports
  • Fnatic
  • Suning
  • JD Gaming
  • Gen.G
  • G2 Esports
  • DAMWON Gaming
  • DRX

The Knockout Stage will adopt a best-of-five format, with a single-elimination bracket – that means once the team loses, it’s game over. To kick things off in the Quarter-finals, the first-placed team of each group will face off against a second-placed team of another group, with no two teams from the same group placed in the same half of the bracket. After the Quarter-finals, it’s a straight shot to the Semi-finals and finally, the Grand Finals. Who will be the ones to hoist the Worlds 2020 champions trophy?

Catch the action LIVE on eGG Network TV starting tomorrow (15th September) at 6pm, or on LoLEsports.com.
