The WePlay! tournament will feature a generous prize pool of US$120,000 that will be donated to six different regions.
When a pandemic has struck the world, all may seem glum in this rare historical moment. But in reality, it’s far from it. Despite the cancellation of countless other events that include esports tournaments, WePlay! is filling the void with a charity tournament of their own, which eGG Network will be broadcasting LIVE!
The WeSave! Charity Play is an online-only Dota 2 tournament, pitting 24 of the world’s best teams against each other to combat the COVID-19 pandemic via charity. With a US$120,000 prize pool at its centre, the amount will be split between six regions to assist their respective situation, with possibly more donations and sponsorship coming in to do their part and save the world.
