As promised, Moonton held the M2 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship Group Stage draw this afternoon, and we now know the details of all the groups who will be heading into M2. Hosted by Laphel and Qontra, the MLBB casters randomly pulled the team names from 3 pools to form the following four groups:
- Myanmar – Burmese Ghouls
- Singapore – RSG
- Russia – Unique Devu
This should be a walk in the park for RSG – but we haven’t seen these teams playing against each other too often, especially our Russian friends from Unique Devu. Burmese Ghouls are still a team not to be underestimated and they could pull out an unexpected win.
- Malaysia – Todak
- Philippines – Omega Esports
- Cambodia – Impunity KH
Good to see Todak back with their MPL-MY/SG S6 winning lineup but they’re going to have face Filipino-powerhouse Omega Esports. However, if they return to their S6 form, they should have this one in the bag.
- Philippines – Bren Esports
- Indonesia – Alter Ego
- Japan – 10S Gaming Frost
Based on first impressions, Group C is the group of death – with 10S Gaming Frost having to go up against MPL-PH S6 and the recent MPLI Champions respectively – talk about a nightmare for the Japanese squad! On the other hand, this group will give Bren Esports an early chance for revenge after losing MPLI to Alter Ego.
- Indonesia – RRQ
- Singapore – Evos SG
- Brazil – Dreammax
Easy win for RRQ Hoshi? The MPL-ID S6 winners shouldn’t have too much trouble in this stage, but as usual in MLBB – anything can happen, especially with big unknowns like Dreammax from Brazil who never compete in this part of the world. It’s going to be an interesting group to watch.

M2 will take place next year in Shangri-La, Singapore, January 18-20 for the group stage and 22-24 for the playoff. Stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on the upcoming tournament!
