A new competitive title has entered the ring of the University e-League (UEL), with the league announcing Valorant as the final piece of the puzzle for non-MOBA university student gamers.

In partnership with MSI, the MGA UEL Valorant Series invites Malaysian university students to form their very own collegiate Valorant esports team and battle over the RM5,000 prize pool. However, only the champions will have the opportunity to compete in MSI’s MGA University Championship, a Southeast Asian esports tournament that features the best collegiate teams from neighbouring countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam.

The MGA UEL Valorant Series will run from 17 July to 12 September in two stages: the Qualifiers and the Grand Finals.
