MLBB: Project “NEXT” To Bring Massive Changes

Since Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) was released back in 2016, the game has had numerous adjustments to revamp and improve the UI and player experience. It looks like Moonton are ready to take the game to the next level with the recently announced Project “NEXT” in their Patch 1.4.86 Spotlight video.

In addition to improved art and sound for the game, we can expect a slew of changes that affect how heroes function, and how players control them. Some new features include:

Smart Targeting

Gaming on touchscreen controls hasn’t always been the best experience, especially when players have to frequently slide and or tap their screens to execute moves. Smart Targeting aims to alleviate some of those issues by making it easier to target enemies in the heat of battle. No more misusing skills on the wrong targets!

Field of View

One of the main complaints about playing games on mobile devices is the fact that players are limited by the tiny displays in their hands. In project next, we can expect new features like zooming out and camera tilt during spell casting to help players land their key long-range spells with more precision.

Reworked Classic Heroes

Recently released heroes have always been given the preferential treatment by MLBB players because they’re new and shiny. Moonton aims to solve this problem by giving some old heroes a rework to make them more relevant in today’s scene. No specifics have been released at the moment, but we’re looking forward to having some old favourites return to the spotlight!

We don’t have a definite release date for Project “NEXT” yet, but it doesn’t look like it should be too far away. Stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on Mobile Legends Bang Bang!
