MPL-MY S7 Invited Teams Announced

The next season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia is just around the corner, and Moonton has officially revealed the list of invited teams who will be competing. The teams we’ll see in MPL-MY S7 are RSG, EVOS, Orange Esports, Todak, Geek Fam, Team SMG, Bosskurr, and Reborn Esports. Two more teams from the qualifiers will make up the remaining slots.

For those who aren’t in the know – this season will be a departure from the previous six seasons, where Malaysia and Singapore competed with each other in the same region. This will be the first time we’ll have separate MPLs for the two countries. So while all the organizations mentioned were part of the top 8 at MPL-MY/SG S6, we’ll be seeing completely different teams from EVOS and RSG. With Geek Fam’s team going through some roster changes, this season of MPL is going to have a lot of new faces so that should bring some excitement into the mix. We’re still waiting for the full roster list to see who will be representing the organizations.

Speaking of rosters and organizations, there has been some drama going on recently between Red Esports and Reborn Esports. While we don’t have the complete story from both sides, what we do know is that the team previously known as Red Reborn (who were top 6 at MPL-MY/SG S6) has not been invited to the upcoming event. The invitation has instead gone out to Reborn Esports, which may or may not consist of players from that team – it is yet to be confirmed at this point in time.

We’ve reached out to the parties involved to get a deeper understanding of what’s going on and will update you if we uncover anything new. Until then, we can only sit and wait for the official announcement. What do you think of the MPL-MY S7 lineup? Can Todak sweep the season again?

Stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on MPL-MY S7!
