MPL-MY S7 | Player Spotlight Todak Ciku

This man needs no introduction. Part of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia/Singapore Season 6 winning squad, Ciku is one of the top players in the scene. Carrying his team countless times in the past, he’s been on fire this season as well. Sure, Todak couldn’t repeat their flawless regular season run from season 6, but finishing top of their group with a 10-3 score isn’t anything to scoff at.

As a jungler, Ciku is great at knowing when he needs to farm and when to fight – he’s top 3 for average GPM this season (722) while maintaining a 68% kill participation score. He’s also in the top 6 when it comes to total kills at 130. However, that’s not all he’s capable of doing – if you watched Todak this season of MPL, you would have noticed that the versatile player has switched up his roles in various matches and he’s capable of more than just jungling. For example in their match against HomeBois, Ciku picked up the tank role and they won the series. This adaptability gives Todak an edge over other teams when it comes to drafting – you never know who’s going to play the hero until the picks are over!

In the first round of the playoffs, Todak will be up against RSG MY, one of the stronger teams in the league. However, Todak did 2-0 them in the regular season and if history repeats itself, it’s going to be another walk in the park. Rest assured they won’t be letting their guard down. Can Todak be back to back MPL winners? Or will this season be the rise of a new team? Good thing we won’t have to wait too long to find out.

The MPL-MY S7 playoffs kick off on 28-30 May, and will be broadcasted live on eGG Network TV, and the MPL Malaysia Facebook Page. Don’t miss out!
