VCT Pacific 2026 Stage 1: The Grind to London Begins!

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific League is officially underway for 2026, and the competition is fierce. Stage 1 is all about securing those coveted spots at Masters London, and all 12 partnered teams are battling it out in Seoul. For Malaysian Valorant fans, this means late nights and plenty of action as we cheer on our regional powerhouses!

We've already seen some exciting matches, including Gen.G falling to Global Esports and a nail-biting clash between Nongshim RedForce and our very own Paper Rex. Full Sense also secured a strong win against DetonatioN FocusMe.

Here's the breakdown of what's happening:

  • Dates: April 3rd – May 17th, 2026
  • Location: Seoul, South Korea
  • Group Stage: April 3rd – May 3rd
  • Playoffs: May 7th – May 17th

Who's Competing?

All 12 VCT Pacific partner teams and teams who qualified through Ascension are in the mix. That includes:

  • FULL SENSE (taking over the slot previously held by TALON)
  • Gen.G
  • Global Esports
  • Nongshim RedForce
  • Paper Rex
  • DetonatioN FocusMe
  • And six more teams vying for glory!

How Does It Work?

The teams are divided into Alpha and Omega groups based on their performance in the Kickoff tournament. The Group Stage features a round-robin format, with each team playing best-of-three matches. The top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs. The top team goes straight to the upper semi-finals, while 2nd and 3rd place go to the upper quarter-finals, and 4th place enters the lower bracket. The bottom two teams from each group will be eliminated.

Why Should Malaysian Fans Care?

Paper Rex is the team to watch! Fresh off a dominant run at Masters Santiago, they're looking to continue their winning streak and cement their status as a top-tier international team. Seeing them compete at the highest level is a huge boost for the SEA Valorant scene, and their success inspires aspiring players across the region. Plus, the level of play in VCT Pacific is consistently incredible – it's a fantastic opportunity to learn from the best and witness some truly spectacular Valorant action.

Where to Watch:

You can catch all the VCT Pacific Stage 1 action live on the official VALORANT Pacific Twitch and YouTube channels. Keep an eye out for localized streams in various languages, including options for Bahasa Malaysia, to enhance your viewing experience.

Teams from Americas, China, and EMEA are also battling it out in their respective regions for a chance to compete at VCT Masters London later this year.
