Tekken 8 Senarai Tier — Season 2

Welcome to egg.network's Tekken 8 character Senarai Tier for Season 2. We rank every fighter based on their tournament results, frame data advantages, and Keseluruhan strength in current patch. Tekken 8's aggressive Heat system rewards characters with Kuat pressure tools, and our rankings reflect who benefits most from game's offensive mechanics.

How We Rank

Our Senarai Tier draws from tournament results at majors like EVO, CEO, and Tekken World Tour, combined with high-level ranked data and frame analysis. Characters are evaluated on their punishment game, combo damage, wall carry, Heat system utilization, and mix-up potential. We also consider execution barriers — a character who requires frame-perfect inputs to reach their potential is weighted slightly lower than one who achieves similar results with more accessible tools.

Season 2 Meta Overview

Season 2 has refined balance but Teratas tier remains dominated by characters with exceptional pressure and punishment. Dragunov's running 2 and iWR2 remain among Terbaik approach tools in game, and his Heat Smash conversions deal devastating damage. Steve Fox's punch-based pressure is nearly impossible to interrupt, with his Peekaboo stance mix-ups creating a guessing game that heavily favors Steve player. Jin Kazama benefits from an extremely well-rounded kit — his Electric Wind Hook Fist, parry, and hellsweep give him answers for every situation. Devil Jin's laser and fly mix-ups add a layer of unpredictability that makes him terrifying at wall. Feng Wei rounds out S-tier with his evasive stances and kenpo step, making him frustratingly hard to pin down while dealing explosive damage on counter-hits. gap between S and A tier is smaller than it appears — characters like Bryan, Kazuya, and Nina are absolutely tournament-viable and can take sets off anyone in right hands.
