The next season of PUBG Mobile esports is finally upon us! And this time, it looks a little different than the Malaysian and Singaporean community are accustomed to.

Us excited for the new season:

This time, kicking the Spring Split off will be the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO 2021), with an unspecified number of top teams qualifying for the PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia/Singapore (PMPL MY/SG) Season 3. Registration opens tomorrow (1 January) until 24 January, so be sure to squad up and sign up at when the new year arrives.

More details about PMCO MY/SG 2021 will be revealed soon, so be sure to keep a keen eye on the PUBG Mobile Esports Malaysia Facebook page for more updates.

PUBG MOBILE esports will feature US$14 million total prize pool, plus other 2021 updates

This change in structure was first announced last month, during the reveal of the PUBG Mobile esports roadmap for 2021. Aside from the revision, invitational competitions have been added during the summer break, after the PMPLs and PMCOs. This means non-stop PUBG Mobile action for fans everywhere, and teams will constantly be on their toes if they want to stay in the meta. Plus, instead of two global series in a year, PMGC will only take place once at the end of the year, with business as usual for PMPLs and PMCOs, which will continue being held two seasons a year.

Plus, 2021’s total prize pool has been increased to a whopping US$14 million worldwide, which is US$9 million more than this year’s pot.
