The PMCO Fall Split 2019 champions had the highest number of player kills and Winner Winner Chicken Dinners in the final showdown.
The PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia/Singapore (PMPL-MY/SG) Spring Split 2020 may be revving up for the Grand Finals next week (13 – 15 Apr), but their Indonesian neighbours has had their fill of chicken dinners with the PMPL-ID 2020 Spring Split Grand Finals last night. And my, what a hearty feast it was, with Bigetron RA emerging as the country’s champions.
Held from 3 – 5 Apr, the online-only Grand Finals saw the Red Aliens conquering with the highest number of kills and Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCD): 87 player kills and four WWCDs, totaling 233 points including placements. Although runner-up Morph Team and third-placed ONIC Esports weren’t far behind with 192 and 173 points, respectively, Bigetron’s impeccable performance proved too much, leaving them in the dust. Even so, it was a tight competition between the top three and the other thirteen teams.
As rewards for their top-tier performances, Bigetron RA won not only the grand prize of US$20,000, but also direct entries into this year’s PMPL Southeast Asia (PMPL-SEA) Spring Split, and even the PUBG Mobile World League (PMWL) East Spring Split. Morph Team and ONIC Esports will also tag along in PMPL-SEA, bagging the US$14,000 and US$7,000 prize money, respectively. The total prize pool of the Grand Finals was US$146,000.
No dates have been revealed for PMPL-SEA yet, so be sure to follow the official PUBG Mobile Facebook page for the latest updates.
