PMPL MY Qualifier Finals: The five invited teams
Check out the teams that will go toe to toe with the open qualifier teams in the upcoming qualifier finals.
While the rest of Malaysia is in chicken dinner season for the PUBG Mobile Professional League (PMPL) MY Qualifiers, we can at least take a closer look at the five teams that have been directly invited to compete in the PMPL MY Qualifiers Finals:
The invitations however have sparked debates on PUBG Mobile's Facebook page, where the announcement was made. In true esports fashion, there will always be expressive statements from passionate fans. Netizens have expressed their doubt and scepticism regarding the nature of said invitations. However, the organisers have clarified that these invitations are not for the PMPL MY/SG League itself, but rather for the MY Qualifier Finals.
All things aside, eleven
other teams will emerge from the open qualifiers to join these invited
teams in the Malaysian qualifier finals on 23 Feb, where they will
compete yet again to progress to the PMPL MY/SG 2020 league. The league
itself will feature the top 12 and top 4 teams from Malaysia and
Singapore respectively, competing across a span of three weeks from 2
Mar onwards.
