PMPL MY/SG: Chicken Dinners are on hold

The Malaysian Government has taken measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19 infection.

In light of the recent COVID-19 developments, the PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia / Singapore 2020 (PMPL MY/SG 2020)Β will be postponed till further notice.

PUBG Mobile’s Official Statement on the matter

To provide some context, on 16 Mar, the government of Malaysia announced that a 14-day Movement Control Order that will be in effect from 18 to 31 Mar nationwide to curb the spread of the pandemic infection in Malaysia. Said Movement Control Order is imposed under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and Police Act 1967. The enforced order also imposes a ban on all mass gatherings for religious, sport, social and cultural activities.

PMPL MY/SG 2020 is an official PUBG Mobile tournament for competitive players in Malaysia and Singapore. The regional league involves qualified teams from Malaysia And Singapore. The top 3 teams in PMPL MY/SG 2020 will be the region’s representatives that will compete at the PMPL South East Asia Finals 2020.
