PMPL MY/SG S2 Week 2: Geek Fam take over second place, Team Secret retain top form

The second week of the PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia/Singapore (PMPL MY/SG) Season 2 saw its fair share of changes to the current overall standings, although some things just don’t change when it comes to the tournament’s apex predators.

Team Secret are keeping their champion seats comfortably warm, cooking up three more Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCDs) and accruing 219 points in the past week alone to stay on top. Even though the Season 1 champions have 104-point headstart, what’s especially impressive is Geek Fam’s breakthough performance in Week 2 – they scored four WWCDs and 172 points in a span of one week, replacing J8 Esports as the current second-place resident. Third-placed Yoodo Gank are still hanging on to their spots well enough, winning their second Chicken Dinner to keep them in the top 3.

Aside from Geek Fam, other teams worth highlighting for their exceptional gameplay include AXIS NRL MPX and N.E.D Brotherhood. In week 1, both teams were in 12th and 16th places, respectively, before soaring to top 5 of the overall ranks. Amazingly enough, the former gathered a whopping total of four Chicken Dinners to boost their ascension.

If you’re interested to know detailed statistics on last week’s matches, you can check out the official PMPL MY/SG Season 2 website for such info.

The third week of the PMPL MY/SG Season 2 Regular Season continues this Wednesday (2 September) at 4.30PM (GMT +8) until Sunday (6 Sept).
