One of the most-anticipated PUBG Mobile tournaments for Malaysia and Singapore, the PUBG Mobile Pro League Malaysia/Singapore Season 2, is just around the corner and we can’t wait to catch all the action that goes on. Especially after disappointing finishes from the Malaysian teams at PMWL:S0 (looking at you Secret and Yoodo), it’ll be interesting to see if the other teams in the region can step it up to dethrone them, or will they find their footing again?
But before the playoffs take place to crown the winners of PMPL-MY/SG S2, the teams in the tournament will have to compete in 6 days of the regular season to qualify. Today, the PUBG Mobile Instagram Page officially announced the format for the tournament.
Starting next Wednesday on 19 August, 3 Groups (8 teams each) will take turns to play each other until the weekend where all 3 groups will compete in a 24-team brawl. This group stage will go on for 4 weeks and the top 16 teams will then proceed to the grand finals weekend on 25-27 September to earn a chunk of the $150,000 USD Prize Pool. No word on what the groups are at this stage, but we expect they’ll be revealed in due time.
It’s going to be a whole month of action for all PUBG Mobile fans! Remember to stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on PMPL-MY/SG S2!
