Presenting the 16 finalists for IO Esports Community Cup

14 PMPL MY/SG invited teams are amongst the finalists, along with two teams who made it all the way from the Open Qualifiers.

PUBG Mobile fans were treated to a Chicken Dinner appetiser yesterday, in the form of a thrilling 8-match Qualifier Finals of the IO Esports Community Cup. 32 teams from across Malaysia and Singapore battled for 16 vacant slots in the Finals, with half of them – comprising two teams from the Open Qualifiers and 14 PMPL MY/SG invited teams – successfully advancing to the epic finale.

Here are the top 16 finalists who made it to the final showdown:

In Group A, Bapak Ah Esports, TARA Proyecto X, Dingoz MZ and Marlino Super each won one Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD); ESG Gaming bagged two WWCDs in Group B, with Team Secret MY and EVOS VIP following behind closely with one WWCD each. Will history repeats itself in the Finals, or will expectations be subverted to everyone’s surprise? We wouldn’t need to wait long to find out, with the Finals happening tomorrow.

The PUBG Mobile community tournament is the result of a collaboration between eGG Network and IO Esports, featuring a RM10,000 cash prize pool to be won by players. The competition began with a 160-team Open Qualifiers on 25 Mar, followed by yesterday’s Qualifier Finals. Based on their placement, participating teams will win the following cash prizes:

1st place

RM4,000

2nd place

RM2,000

3rd place

RM1,200

4th place

RM800

5th – 8th place

RM500 each

The IO Esports Community Cup Finals begins tomorrow (27 Mar) at 3PM (GMT+8), and will be live on eGG Network’s Facebook page.

 


The RM10,000 PUBG Mobile Community Cup is organised by IO Esports in collaboration with eGG Network.
