The Facebook Gaming streamer surpassed his own personal record for the highest concurrent viewers of his live stream.
Although most of us are stuck at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ’tis still a good time to celebrate Ramadan when we’re with our family 24/7. We have much to be grateful for, especially so for hotshot Facebook Gaming streamer, Mohd Faris “Soloz” Zakaria – who recently broke his own personal record of highest concurrent viewers on his live stream two nights ago (28 Apr).
Having reached a new high of 44,014 simultaneous viewers on said stream, Soloz was streaming his gameplay for Facebook Gaming’s Global Ramadan Tournament, a friendly PUBG Mobile competition pitting Malaysia’s and Indonesia’s top streamers against each other.
The first half of the tournament – which was held for the past two nights – was hosted by MainGames Indonesia, while eGG Network will take over hosting duties for the second half next Tuesday and Wednesday (5 – 6 Apr) at 10PM (GMT+8).
Soloz’s previous record holder was a live stream he did last week, peaking at 37,742 concurrent viewers. He was streaming his regular gameplay of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, before ending it with a literal bang by playing everyone’s favourite mobile battle royale, PUBG Mobile. It wasn’t so long ago that the professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports player commemorated another milestone: amassing 1 million followers, and it looks like he isn’t slowing down any time soon!
