After the cancellation of November’s Free Fire World Series (FFWS) last year, Garena announced the dates for when the next one will be. Now it looks like they're ready to reveal its location: Garena announced in a press release the official dates and location for the next iteration of the FFWS: it will be held in Sentosa, Singapore, and will take place from 14-21 May.
Featuring the best Free Fire teams from all across the world, we’ll be seeing teams from North America, Pakistan, Taiwan, Brazil, CIS, Indonesia, India, Latin America, MCP (Malaysia, Cambodia and Philippines), MENA, Thailand, Vietnam and Europe. The event will start with the play-ins on 14th May, with the top 2 teams moving on to the finals on 21st May. Each stage will consist of 6 rounds across 3 maps.
The regional events will be taking place throughout the next few months, with teams battling for a spot in the finals and play-ins. It’s going to be a bloodbath, and we can’t wait to see what happens. Will we see a repeat of last year’s finals or will it be the rise of a new team? Only one way to find out.
There’s no mention if the event will be open to the public, but Garena will be prioritizing health and safety over everything else, so fingers crossed if you’re looking forward to attending the FFWS in person. Stay tuned to eGG Network for updates and news on Free Fire in the coming weeks! More info
