In addition to all the MLBB and PUBG Mobile action that took place over the weekend, there was the grand final of the IOI Esports FIFA21 Challenge happening at the same time! Though there were 800 players who took part in the open qualifiers, last weekend boiled down to only the top 16 players going up against each other.
In the end, Putera Sufrie Nizam (Pvtera) emerged as the winner of the tournament and won himself a cool RM5,000 cash prize. Here's a breakdown of the RM10,000 prize pool:
Placement | Prize money | Winner |
1st | RM5,000 | Putera Sufrie Nizam (Pvtera) |
2nd | RM2,500 | Roshand Shane (saint-gucci) |
3rd | RM1,000 | Runner Up Rinie Bin Ramli (ensmileyface) |
4th | RM500 | Ahmad Sharin Bin Shaharudin (Doodledeedoo) |
Consolation | RM250 | Alif Fikri (Nori-Federer), Kamil Al Amini (maxnevis), Kiieshan NairA/L Regukumaran (kiieshan94), Alif Dani Bin Noor Badarrudin (FourOneOne) |
Khairul Azmi Mohd Zainuddin (KhairulAzmi21) won a copy of FIFA21 as prize for the "Challenge the Champ" segment. And the lucky draw prize winners won FIFA21 and a Thermaltake G100 Pulse headset.
Once again, congratulations to everyone who participated or tuned in! The event was a success and IOI Property Group might be keen to explore other similar activities in the future. If you missed the action and would like to catch the recorded live stream, it's available on their Facebook Page.
