Level Up KL 2020 was one of the most happening video game/esports conventions in Malaysia, with high-octane competitions like the FIGHT Call of Duty Mobile tournament taking place during the wholly-digital event. It is in this free-for-all COD Mobile series where Klasiko Rampage emerged as champions.
Klasiko Rampage defeated Traitor Esports in a series of Domination and Team Deathmatch games, proving themselves to be an unstoppable force of lead and gunpowder. As the winners, the five-man squad won the champion’s share of the RM5,000 and 20,000 Call of Duty Points (CP) total prize pool, and Traitor Esports and 1Percent settled for runner-ups and second runner-ups spot, respectively.
FIGHT COD Mobile adopted an online format, just like the virtualised premier digital games festival it’s a part of. The series ran from 2 to 29 November, with the Grand Finals on 28 and 29 November.
The FIGHT COD Mobile tournament was a joint partnership between Forest Interactive’s esports development platform, Forest Interactive Gaming Habitat Team (FIGHT), their gaming wallet platform, Wallet Codes, and Garena, as part of their initiative to propel the Malaysian esports scene.
