Four weeks have passed since the start of the MPL-MY/SG S6 regular season, and what a treat it’s been so far. Let’s take a look at how the teams are faring.
Top of The Table - Todak, Resurgence, Red Reborn
Todak are on fire this season - it looks like the team has finally found their groove after making major roster changes earlier this year. The team is currently undefeated in the regular season, winning all 6 of their matches, and only dropping 4 games in the process. If they can keep up this form, the Malaysian squad looks like the team to beat.
Resurgence’s second spot on the leaderboard comes as no surprise - after proving their worth by winning the trophy in S5, the Singaporean squad has shown that they aren’t here to play around. Losing only one match so far, they look like the other team to beat in this tournament.
Red Reborn definitely stand out from their peers this season - after making it into the tournament through the open qualifier with a chip on their shoulders the team is here to prove their naysayers wrong, and they’re doing a damn fine job currently. The team beat Orange Louvre Esports 2-1 earlier this week, which we’re sure boosted their confidence by a huge margin. Fingers crossed for a rematch during the playoffs.
Middle of the pack - EVOS SG, Geek Fam
While it’s too early to tell where these teams will end up in the playoffs, EVOS SG and Geek Fam appear to be struggling so far. Upper bracket starters in S5, with the latter being the eventual Grand Finalist, the two teams have yet to display the prowess they’ve been known for. With only two weeks to go, it’s a bit concerning to be an EVOS SG or Geek Fam fan. Hopefully, they can pull it together in time.
Outlook not so good - Team SMG, Orange Louvre Esports, Divinity Esports, Team Bosskurr, Forsaken
Orange Louvre Esports were a recently formed squad, so they’re probably taking some time to gel - and the default loss on their first week didn’t help with their score either. Forsaken have only won one game so far, losing all their matches till date, while Bosskurr isn’t that far off from them either. We’re not sure what happened to these squads, but it feels like all of them need to make some drastic changes to the way they plan and execute their games if they expect to move forward. At this point, their best-case scenarios are to start the playoffs from the lower bracket - and that never feels good as a player. Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks.

The latest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Season is back. Last week, over 500 teams registered to fight for four qualifying spots in MPL-MYSG Season 6, two reserved for Malaysia, two for Singapore.
These are the ten Regular Season teams after Sunday's (26 July) qualifier matches:
There are a few familiar faces in the qualified teams. Raisyaa, Ax and Smooth are still on the team, with Loong joining from Axis Esports. Divinity Esports boasts Season 1 winner, wQxD, in their line-up; Season 2 champion Silo also makes a return, after a less-than-amicable parting with ways with Orange Esports Reborn.
The MPL-MYSG S6 Regular Season will begin on 28 August 2020. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more information.
