Looks like NetEase Games is looking to close out the year with another bang - they announced today the return of the Top Clans with its winter edition. Kicking off next week, the Top Clans 2021 Winter Stage will feature everybody's favourite games: Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Rules of Survival, and for the first time: Naraka: Bladepoint! That's right, the highly popular sword-swinging battle royale will be one of the titles for the upcoming event, with the winners representing SEA at the upcoming Naraka Official World Championship in January 2022.

Teams from the 2021 Summer Invitational will be taking part, as well as new teams that make it through the qualifiers. NetEase mentioned that they will now be accepting competitors from Japan and Russia as well, so expect some fiercer competition. The total prize pool for the whole event is 110,000 USD, which is more than double this year's Summer Invitational.

Qualifiers for the tournament have already begun for Naraka: Bladepoint, so if you're keen on competing for the other games, make sure you sign up already! All the registration info and links are available on the official Top Clans Facebook. Top Clans Winter Stage 2021 will take place from 24 November til 24 December. eGG Network is pleased to announce that we'll be screening the tournament on our channels, so stay tuned for updates! In the meantime, you can catch the qualifiers on YouTube/Twitch.

Congratulations to Alpha Esports Pro! With their stellar performance in the Top Clans 2021 MLBB Summer Invitational, they won the whole tournament by beating Quantum in the Grand Finals. The squad performed very well during the event, finishing at the top of Group A and cruising into the upper bracket without breaking a sweat. Along the way, they defeated IDoNotSleep, MNP Esports and Quantum to secure themselves the gold medal. We see a bright future ahead for Lembot, Kram God, Ardee Haya Only, Sn4p, Bertzy and Kyletzy.

Quantum themselves were no slouches, finishing top of their group, but falling to the lower bracket thanks to fellow group mates - MNP Esports who took them out in round 3 of the playoffs. They managed to come back against MNP Esports in the lower bracket final but fell short against the eventual champions. If you're interested in watching the final day of the tournament, check it out on the Top Clans page.

While the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament has concluded, we still have many more weeks of Top Clans 2021 Summer Invitational action lined up. The Dota 2 tournament will kick off this Wednesday, 9 September, followed by the Rules of Survival event for the following two weeks. Make sure you follow Top Clans and eGG Network for more info!

Top Clans 2020 is back and bigger than ever for its second edition, with a strong determination to top its debut season last year. Initially, the largest tournament for Rules of Survival, NetEase Games has since expanded Top Clans to include other esports titles across different platforms, a testament to their resolve in making Top Clans 2020 the next big esports series to watch out for in Southeast Asia.

On top of their self-developed/-published battle royale, NetEase Games is adding four new game titles to Top Clans 2020, including Dota 2, Marvel Super War, Tekken 7 and Tom and Jerry: Chase, with the latter making its first ever Southeast Asian esports appearance. The US$85,000 total prize pool will be split between the five games, with US$20,000 allotted to each game except for Tekken 7, which will instead feature a US$5,000 prize pool.

Top Clans 2019 enjoyed a reach of more than 24 million, with the official broadcast viewed over 9 million times by the world's viewers.

Here's a summary of the schedule for Top Clans 2020:

Opening Day

25 September

Group Stage/Knockout Stage

26 September to 18 October; 24 - 26 October

20 - 23 October; 27 - 29 October

Players who managed to withstand the month-long group stage/knockout stage will be given passage to the Playoffs, where Dota 2 and Marvel Super War will adopt a double-elimination bracket to decide the winning team. Unlike its peers, the Tekken 7 segment will be short yet punchy, taking place over a single weekend from 16 - 18 October. Top Clans 2020 will conclude with not one but two big bangs, with the Marvel Super War grand finals taking place on 6 November and the Rules of Survival epic finale from 7 - 8 November.
