What a way to close out the year - Creators Collision 4.0 concluded last night with a bang - after the group stages, quarter and semi-finals, the teams were narrowed down to the final two: Hope We Are Not Last and CookVeryWell. They duked it out in an epic best-of-seven series that went all the way to the seventh game, that CookVeryWell snatched away with a 142 point lead - talk about close! Despite Hope We Are Not Last surpassing all expectations of their team name, it wasn't enough to secure the gold.
Well played to all the teams who competed in the tournament, it was fun watching so many teams and creators showing off their Overcooked! skills. We definitely have some very talented chefs in the Facebook Gaming community. Here are the top eight teams of the tournament:

After we had so much fun with the first Creators Collision Overcooked! All You Can Eat event, we’ve decided to bring it back, better than ever. This time around, we’re more than doubling the prize pool and getting chefs from outside of the country. Fortunately, we don’t have to be flying them in as this is an online event, but joining our Malaysian cooks will be Creators from Singapore, Taiwan and Cambodia!
Here’s who will be competing:
|MANA MANA SANDAR||FARID.CO|
ARTISTIC GAMING GAJET
|Yoyoo Bae||Ankel S4M |
|Taiwan #1||瀰婭ミア MiaMya|
|Taiwan #4||陳大膽 UU Chen|
|Taiwan #5||WannaSinging 老王|
|Taiwan #6||Molly 翎熹|
|Taiwan #7||涵菲 HanFei|
Day 1 and Day 2
The creators will be split into eight teams and will be competing in random kitchens on day 1 or day 2 of the tournament. Each team will have 30 minutes to earn the highest possible score for the kitchen they are assigned to. They may attempt each kitchen an unlimited amount of times and freely restart as long as they are within the time limit. At the end of the day, teams will be ranked from highest to lowest according to the aggregate score for the day. Teams ranked 5th to 8th will be eliminated.
The remaining teams (eight teams) will have 15 minutes to try for the highest possible score in two kitchens. The top four will advance to the semi-finals, while the bottom four are eliminated.
The teams will be playing versus mode against each other - two rounds per team, two players per team. Seeding is based on the total points so far. Teams will play two kitchens each, and players can only play one match each. The top two teams advance to the finals.
The top two teams will play a best-of-seven Kitchens in versus mode. All maps are random, and teams can rotate amongst their players as they wish.
Date and Time
This will be eGG Network’s final event of the year, as we plan to close out 2021 with a bang! Make sure you stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates to come!
After an intense 2-day cookout, the dust in the kitchen settled and thousands of hungry mouths satiated, the winners of the Creators Collision: Overcooked! All You Can Eat tournament have been decided. Congratulations to January AKG, FanCFreakz, MamaJess and XiiaoCong - Team Salty for winning the whole tournament! Straight out of the gates on day 1, Team Salty proved that they weren't to be messed with, showing no mercy to their opponents and cooking up a storm. Their momentum kept on day 2 and managed to remain on top. The only close contenders were Team Suka Suki who finished second in the tournament, a close 300 points behind. Regardless, these players all gave their best and deserve recognition for taking part in the event.
Team Salty walk away with RM12,000, Suka Suki RM8,000, Bawang Hangit! with RM6,000, Stay at Homies RM4,000, Gedebuk Gedebak RM3,500, Nubees RM2,500, Chefscape and BTS Borneo with RM2,000 each.
As a first-time competitive Overcooked! spectator, it really opened my eyes to the level of teamwork people can achieve in this game. These Creators made the game look so simple and easy compared to my personal experience with it (I was terrible and let my friends down 😂), what I watched was a completely different game! If you missed the tournament that was streamed on our Facebook Page, watch the VODs for day 1 and 2 below:

After the successful Creators Collision last year, fans of Facebook Gaming Creators will be pleased to know that there's a second instalment coming up real soon! Called Creators Collision: Overcooked! All You Can Eat, this time around we'll have new faces leading their own teams into 'combat' - because is it really combat if the only thing their knives cut are ingredients? Despite the lack of physical altercations, we're sure that isn't going to stop the participants from bickering and arguing amongst each other - as every good Overcooked session should have!
However, what's a competitive game without stakes? That's right, this isn't just some fun Overcooked activity - there's some money on the line, RM40,000 to be exact. This prize pool will ensure that the Creators try their hardest to win, and you can expect no holding back punches from the competitors. Speaking of, here's who will be competing:
The tournament will unfold live on our Facebook Page this weekend (24-25 July), with the venerable Ikuto and Spartanker casting the action, so make sure you follow us to get notified. Tune in to support your favourite Creators or just sit back and enjoy the show!
