After months of training and competing in the PUBG Mobile Professional League, Team Secret have come out as victors of PMPL SEA Season 4! It looks like their plan of doing the bare minimum during the league stage paid off. By barely qualifying for the Grand Finals, Team Secret looked shaky coming into the final weekend, but their performance said otherwise. The Malaysian squad won a total of 4 Chicken Dinners in the PMPL SEA S4 Grand Finals, the most out of any team at the event, including the last one to conclude the tournament. They were the most consistent team, finishing top 4 in 9 out of 15 rounds.

Congratulations to Fredo, iShotz, MADTOI, Jumper, Y2K, KiD and Seraveem. The boys have made Malaysia proud with this victory! Well played to the other Malaysian teams as well, with 4Rivals finishing 4th, Geek Fam 6th, and AXIS RedONE at 8th.

Joining Team Secret at PMGC will be 4Rivals, FaZe, BTR RA and MS Chonburi - where they will face off against teams from the rest of the world for the ultimate title - and a cut of the $6,000,000 prize pool. The action continues 30 November - 24 December, stay tuned to eGG Network for all the latest news and updates!

The third and final Super Weekend for PMPL SEA Championship Season 4 ended yesterday and we now have our 16 teams that will be competing in this weekend's Grand Finals! Here are the teams who managed to make it out of the League stage:

PMPL SEA Championship S4 Grand Finalists

  1. FaZe Clan
  2. EVOS Reborn
  3. 4Rivals
  4. The Infinity
  5. Bigetron RA
  6. Vampire Esports
  7. Geek Fam
  8. Axis RedONE
  9. D'Xavier
  10. MS Chonburi
  11. Eagle Esport
  12. BN United
  13. Genesis Dogma GIDS
  14. RRQ RYU
  15. Onyx Esport
  16. Team Secret

Turns out that FaZe Clan has been steadily improving their game after placing 15th on Week 1, but finishing first on Week 3. A definitely stand out performance from the Thai squad, and with this victory, they secure a slot at PMGC 2021. EVOS Reborn dropped to second place, while 4Rivals climb up to third - it's great to see our Malaysian representatives doing well at this event. The Infinity dropped to 4th this week, while Bigetron climbed to 5th. Vampire pushed up two spots to 6th and Geek Fam dropped to 7th, followed by Axis RedONE at 8th. Team Secret managed to sneak right into the finals after failing to qualify for Super Weekend 3 since so their points remained the same, but their placing dropped to 16th. Calculated decision? Perhaps. Hopefully, the boys will go all out when the grand finals roll around.

It's going to be an exciting conclusion to the PMPL SEA Championship S4, so make sure you stick around to watch it this weekend! Catch the action live, 5-7 November, on Facebook/YouTube at 6 PM, and follow eGG Network for more news and updates!

The second week of the PUBG Mobile Professional League SEA Championship Season 4 League ended yesterday with outstanding performances from EVOS, FaZe and The Infinity. EVOS propelled themselves from 7th place on week 1 to 1st place this week, overtaking D'Xavier (last week's winners) who failed to qualify for Super Weekend 2. Coming in at 2nd place were FaZe Clan, who jumped up all the way from 15th to 6th - this week's performance was like night and day compared to the previous week! The Infinity also played well and bumped Malaysia out of second place.

Speaking of Malaysian teams, they've remained consistent, scoring almost as much as they did the previous weekend. Geek Fam is 3rd in the leaderboard, followed by 4RIVALS and AXIS RedONE Esports.

BTR RA and Team Secret feel like they are taking it slow and steady, similar to what they did in their regional PMPL S4. They did well enough during the league to make it to the finals, where they really shined. Could the same strategy be at play here? We'll find out soon enough!

The action of PMPL SEA Championship S4 League concludes this week, with the weekdays starting tomorrow (26th Oct) and Super Weekend on Friday (29th Oct). Since it'll be the last chance for teams to score enough points for the Finals, expect the struggling teams to give it their all this week. Things aren't looking great for V Gaming (who have missed both Super Weekends), RRQ RYU, Yangon Galacticos, NFT Esports and Onyx Esport (who have only attended one Super Weekend each). They'll definitely need to put on a show this week to secure a spot.
