If you've been holding your breath for Moonton's ambitious Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Project "NEXT" update, the wait is finally over! Starting today, you can boot up the game on your mobile device to download the update. Now that the patch is live, we've got more detailed information on what the update entails.

Lane selection: players can choose their lanes according to their heroes at the beginning of the match - this will affect how your hero performs. Jungle heroes will be stronger in the jungle and weaker in lanes, and vice versa.

Revamped heroes: Miya, Layla, Alucard, Eudora, Zilong, and Saber. In addition, you'll also be able to complete tasks to unlock new skins for these OG heroes.

Hero changes to Alice, Tigreal, Vale, Aurora, Kadita, Granger, Silvanna, Yu Zhong, Chang'e, Atlas, Martis, Terizla and Balmond.

Battlefield changes: for the first 7 waves, Siege Minions on the lane closer to the first Turtle will provide extra 50% EXP, while Siege Minions on the lane further from the first Turtle will provide extra 50% Gold. From wave 8 onwards, these Siege Minions will stop providing benefits. This change is going to affect how certain heroes lane in the game.

Armor, HP, bounty changes to the outer and inner turrets; adjustments to jungling equipment, matchmaking optimization, new control modes, visual effects and much more!

We can't wait to see how these changes will affect the pro scene and our public games. Stay tuned to eGG Network for all the latest news and updates on MLBB!

Mobile Legends Bang Bang: Project "NEXT" is just around the corner, and Moonton are pulling out the stops to drive up the excitement for the update. Over the weekend, they released a cinematic trailer called 'Beyond Legends'. While it's mostly a lore-focused trailer for the game (you get glimpses of what Miya, Alucard, Eudora, Balmond, Zilong and more went through in the past), it does lead us to wonder if Moonton has some sort of animated series in the works for the game.

Regardless if you care about their stories or not, we get a close look at some of the new and updated skins and models for the game's iconic characters. No word on whether we'll see even more cinematics for the other heroes and villains, but we're definitely hyped for the game's new update.

Last month, Moonton hinted at some upcoming updates for their classic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang heroes and it looks like the company is ready to tease us a little bit more. Today they revealed what they plan to do with Miya and Alucard for Project “NEXT”.

A gentler but braver Miya

In addition to a cosmetic change to make her look gentler and braver, she will be reworked into a more active hero. Exact details haven’t been revealed, but Moonton mentioned that she will have an enhanced Passive and Skill 2 (Rain of Arrows) to grant her higher damage output, stronger control ability, and more flexible positioning.

Based on the screenshots, it looks like Miya will be able to shoot an arrow that splits in 6 directions and stuns opponents - a useful tool to scatter your enemies and force them out of position. She also seems to have a new skill that will allow her to attack multiple enemies at the same time as well. In the meantime, enjoy the images; we’ll know the exact details when the patch is officially announced.

As for Alucard, Moonton wanted to stick to his core strength, which is his one-on-one duels. Based on this direction, they have tweaked his Passive to now dump massive damage on a single attack. His Ultimate will no longer have lifesteal and will deal extra damage on marked targets instead. It will also be able to trigger his Passive. Again, not much to infer here until we see the official patch notes, but it looks like Alucard will be more tweaked towards quick fights instead of long drawn out ones.

Still the same ol' pretty boy

Alucard’s looks also have been slightly tweaked, but you’ll still be able to recognize him.

Moonton also mentioned that they will also be adjusting the backstories of their characters - possibly for an upcoming lore-focused project? Time to pull out those speculation hats!

MLBB: Project “NEXT” seems to be shaping up to be an interesting update. Remember to stay tuned to eGG Network for all the latest MLBB news.

Since Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) was released back in 2016, the game has had numerous adjustments to revamp and improve the UI and player experience. It looks like Moonton are ready to take the game to the next level with the recently announced Project “NEXT” in their Patch 1.4.86 Spotlight video.

In addition to improved art and sound for the game, we can expect a slew of changes that affect how heroes function, and how players control them. Some new features include:

Smart Targeting

Gaming on touchscreen controls hasn’t always been the best experience, especially when players have to frequently slide and or tap their screens to execute moves. Smart Targeting aims to alleviate some of those issues by making it easier to target enemies in the heat of battle. No more misusing skills on the wrong targets!

Field of View

One of the main complaints about playing games on mobile devices is the fact that players are limited by the tiny displays in their hands. In project next, we can expect new features like zooming out and camera tilt during spell casting to help players land their key long-range spells with more precision.

Reworked Classic Heroes

Recently released heroes have always been given the preferential treatment by MLBB players because they’re new and shiny. Moonton aims to solve this problem by giving some old heroes a rework to make them more relevant in today’s scene. No specifics have been released at the moment, but we’re looking forward to having some old favourites return to the spotlight!
