PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season Zero (PMGC 2020), one of the biggest mobile esports tournaments of the year, begins tomorrow on 24 Nov! 24 teams of the worlds sharpest shooters will battle it out for a whopping US$2,000,000! (the highest PUBG Mobile esports prize pool amount to date).
Here are the 24 teams that will be dropping in on-screen:
Teams will square off over the course of four weeks, with the action being split across two stages each week: League Play and Super Weekend.
The two-day League Play will feature eight matches per day. The top 16 placed teams after each week’s two-day League Play will advance to the three-day Super Weekend. It is only at this stage where championship points are earned that contribute to their PMGC 2020 tournament standings. The League Play results will reset every week, requiring teams to consistently perform to qualify for each week’s Super Weekend.
The top 16 teams with the highest standing points from the Super Weekend will qualify for the Grand Finals that will be held at a later date in 2021.
Fans can catch all the action from 24 November to 20 December at 7 PM (GMT+8) on eGG Network TV (CH800 for MY viewers).
