OUR STREAMERS

After four weeks of qualification matches and an intense 10-day finals, the champions for the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Cup have been determined - congratulations to EVOS Esports TH! The tournament was mostly a walk in the park for the squad from start to finish after the qualification stage - in ESL Mobile Open 2021 Summer: Thailand, they went 7-0 in the group stages, and won the playoffs only dropping 2 games in 2 series, and at the Summer Cup, they went 5-1 in groups, and dominated Alliance (Singapore), SBTC (Vietnam) in the playoffs before facing against ONE Team (Taiwan).

The grand final was a strong showing from both squads, going all the way to 5 games with the last one being a nail biter. Ultimately, it was EVOS Esports TH's superior team fighting that allowed them to close out the game at 25:44 and win the whole tournament. EVOS Esports TH are the winners of the first SEA Icon Series Summer Cup and secure themselves $25,000 and a spot at the SEA Championship Last Chance Qualifier if they don't qualify during the Fall Season.

Well played to Thipper, Valdus, G4, Catsatan, Miracle and Lloyd (coach) for clinching the biggest trophy in the region yet. The Thai squad are the team to look out for in the upcoming Wild Rift Season. ONE Team also did a good job during the playoffs and should be commended for their effort, better luck next time!

Stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on Wild Rift esports!
