PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season Zero

It’s been refreshing to finally see both eastern and western teams facing off against each other after the past few months of regional-only tournaments. And based on the results of the weekdays, it looks like the two regions are evenly matched, with the above top 16 teams qualifying for PMGC 2020's first Super Weekend. All Southeast Asian teams managed to make the cut, as well as other powerhouses that were expected to make it this far, including world champions Bigetron RA and Futbolists.

Free Fire Continental Series 2020

Such a fantastic week for mobile battle royale esports, with Garena's very own Free Fire reaching their own worldwide conclusion too, albeit split into three series: the Americas Series, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) Series and Asia Series.

The wholly online tournament for the Asia series will pit the best Free Fire teams of Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Taiwan and Pakistan against each other. The champions of their respective national tournaments immediately qualify for the Grand Finals, whereas the second- and third-placed teams of all countries – except Taiwan and Pakistan, which will only send the runner-up team – will enter the Play-in first to for the top 5 spot and enter the finals.

As a treat for fans, Free Fire players will get to be part of the tournament by participating in the #UndefeatedSquad in-game event, where you can complete missions in squad mode, cheer for your team, prediction contests, and even watch the series in-game to earn limited-time rewards.

OGA Counter PIT Season 8

Four match days have passed for OGA Counter PIT Season 8, with the best Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) professional teams across EU/CIS battling it out for a slice of the US$15,000 total prize pool. The stage for the upper-bracket final has been set, with Nexus Gaming and SKADE defeating x-kom AGO and Team Secret, respectively, to get one step closer to the Grand Finals. In the lower-brackets, ESPADA and HellRaisers swept FATE Esports and Nemiga Gaming 2-0, respectively, and will be facing off against the upper-bracket losers in the next round.

The OGA Counter PIT Season 8 continues tonight at 1AM (14 November). Better yet, the CS:GO tournament will be shown LIVE on eGG Network.

The Nationals Season 2 - Mobile Legends: Bang Bang conference

Moving on from Cignal Ultra Warriors' second championship title win in The Nationals Dota 2 conference, it's now time for the highly-anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports conference in The Nationals. After all, Season 1 champions Bren Epro are returning to defend their title, not to mention that other apex predators will be fighting to be the next champions. On top of that, a total prize pool of 1.5 million Philippine peso (RM123,000) is up for grabs, so expect no holds barred action between the best MLBB teams in the Philippines.
