It's not much of a secret as they've already competed in tournaments under the Yoodo x Alliance tag, but today the telco and esports organization (who had a different team last year) made it official. During a quick press conference in the afternoon, Yoodo Alliance mentioned that they were officially teaming up with 4Rivals for the upcoming PUBG Mobile Professional League Season.

Yoodo Alliance-4Rivals will consist of:

The players, who have been together since their Dingoz MPX days, have been playing pretty well over the past year, so it's no surprise they caught the attention of one of the scene's biggest organizations. All smiles were to be had during the official announcement today, with representatives of Yoodo, Alliance and 4Rivals looking forward to a bright future. Things can only get better from here, right?

We asked Loda, Alliance's CEO about his thoughts about replacing the previous roster with the new one and he responded along the lines of, "It was a tough decision but we felt like we made the right one."

“The team’s performance thus far has been incredibly exciting to watch, and we’re confident that the combined boost of support from Yoodo and Alliance will help the team flourish at greater heights,” Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo, mentioned. “We hope to have your support as Yoodo Alliance-4Rivals continue on their journey to dominate the esports arena.”

Mohd Hafizuddin bin Yusoff, CEO of 4Rivals also shared, “We are thrilled at the opportunity to partner with such established organisations such as Alliance and Yoodo. We hope that with their support, 4Rivals can reach even greater heights and take the PUBG Mobile scene in Malaysia by storm.”

Yoodo Alliance-4Rivals will be competing in the next season of PMPL later this month where they will go against the best teams from Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. Stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on the competitive PUBG Mobile scene!

It was only last week that Yoodo announced they had parted ways with Gank, and now it looks like they've got a new team to take their place. In surprising news this morning, the telco announced its newly minted partnership with one of the biggest names in the esports scene - Alliance. For those unfamiliar, the Swedish-originated organization started back in 2013 with a Dota 2 team that won the International that very same year. Since then, they've expanded into many other games including a Singaporean-based Wild Rift squad, so it only seems natural they would want another team for one of the most popular games in the region - PUBG Mobile.

Introducing, Yoodo Alliance! Kimz, Lex, Dinx, Pami and Temah, aka GRiTG ARES, winners of the PUBG Mobile National Championship Malaysia 2021. The boys proved they have what it takes to hang with the best when they won the tournament and will make their debut on the big stage when PMPL MY/SG S4 kicks off on 24th August.

"It's important to pick a team where they have a core we can work with. They're willing to grow and have incredibly skilled cores. We love to work with teams that we can add value to and GRiTG ARES are that team," said Jonathan "Loda" Berg, CEO of Alliance, when asked about why the squad was chosen. Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo chimed in, saying that they had huge success with PMNC winners in the past (see ex-Yoodo Gank) and are looking to repeat it.

Look forward to catching the team in action later this month. Stay tuned to eGG Network for more news and updates on PUBG Mobile esports!
