Who says people who work can’t play games competitively? That’s right – if you’re a slave to the corporate machine and harbour dreams of becoming an esports star at the same time, you’re in luck. After a successful first season of The Corporate League, The Gaming Company (TGC) has announced its return with The Corporate League Season 2 – an RM20,000 prize pool tournament for working people.
Back and bigger than ever, Season 2 now includes competitors from even more industries, with an estimate of 60 corporate teams and over 450 players. It will run across 11 weeks (to accommodate the schedules of working people) and matches will start at night. Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and PUBG Mobile will be the games this time around.
The tournament kicks off on 20 July until 1 October. If you’re a working citizen and have a bunch of like-minded colleagues, head over to the official website to sign up now! Rules and schedules will also be posted there. For those of you who aren’t keen on playing, you’ll be able to catch the games that will be streamed live on their Facebook page.
Some of us at eGG Network will also be competing in the tournament, feel free to show us your support!
