Todak PUBG Mobile disbanded, hinted to still be invited to PMPL MY/SG Season 3

Todak’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang squad have been killing it in their respective esports scene, but their PUBG Mobile team are still seeking their footing, after relieving the rest of its roster just two days ago.

Todak PUBG Mobile’s players comprised:

  • Mohd “KRTOS” Hisham Aris – Captain/Support
  • Zulkarnain “9Nine” Rosli – IGL
  • Muhammad “KiD” Danish Yusniza – Multi-role
  • Wan Mohd “LuffyGaming1” Jafni Wan Kamal – Rusher

Luffy was the first to leave the team late January, before Todak announced their release of KRTOS, 9Nine and KiD over the weekend. No reasons were given for their sudden departure, and no new players have been announced so far.

However, on the same day before this saddening news was posted, the PUBG Mobile Esports Malaysia Facebook page posted this on their channel:

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the next PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia/Singapore (PMPL MY/SG Season 3) will see Todak making its debut in the major leagues as an invited team. But, without any players, how could they possibly join? The answers lies under our noses (technically, the comments section):

To translate/paraphrase the above, direct invited teams must still adhere to certain requirements. One can’t simply buy their way into the invited list and allow amateur players to play, which means Todak will be sponsoring a seasoned team who were finalists in PMPL MY/SG Season 2.

Time will tell which team have been given the honour to be sponsored by Todak, a Malaysian organisation that has brought their MLBB squad to new heights.
