Jan 23, 2020 Bryan "soupykambing" Terng

Will this be another surprise Malaysian esports force to be reckoned with, just like their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang brothers?

With Todak’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team performing exceptionally well in the MLBB esports scene, it was only natural for the Malaysian lifestyle brand to expand their esports segment and explore other games to infiltrate. And what better game to get into than one of the biggest esports title in the world, Dota 2?

First teased on their Facebook page, the Todak Dota 2 team was officially announced today, along with its line-up and managers:

Apparently, the journey to assemble the team begun late last year, with tryouts and scouting at local tournaments done to seek out Malaysian Dota 2 players who are up to the task of becoming the best of the best. According to a spokesperson, they’re currently focused on qualifying for the Dota Minor Championships, with The International (TI) as their ultimate goal.
