What to watch: MPL Invitational, NBA 2K League and more

NBA 2K League

The brainchild of NBA and Take-Two Interactive, publisher of NBA 2K, the NBA 2K League is the first official esports league operated by a US professional sports league. The league will feature 23 teams, including 2019โ€™s winner T-Wolves Gaming, 76ers GC, and the Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai, the first non-American team.

If you’re based in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar and Australia, you can catch all the court action on eGG Network. The broadcast begins with Week 6 of the regular season and will continue through the NBA 2K League Finals. eGG Network will also air three in-season tournaments: The Tipoff, The Turn, and The Ticket. MPL Invitational 4 Nation Cup

The Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Invitational 4 Nation Cup (MPLI) is bringing together the top-performing MPL teams of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Myanmar for an all-out battle royale. These teams will be fighting over a US$100,000 prize pool in a span of three stages: two group stage qualifiers and a Playoffs. With the likes of Resurgence, Geek Fam, RRQ.Hoshi and EVOS as part of the line-up, what MLBB esports fan would want to miss MPLI?

The MPLI group stage qualifiers will be held from today (19 June) to 21 June and 26 โ€“ 28 June, with the three-day Playoffs commencing on 3 July. The online stream will be available on the official MLBB Facebook page, and will also be available for broadcast on the eGG Network TV channel.

cs_summit 6 Online

Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) esports fans will be overjoyed by this news! The European and North American legs of the cs_summit 6 Online features a total of 29 teams – 16 for Europe, 13 for North America – competing in the pair of series, with a prize pool sum of US$200,000. Featuring teams from the Regional Major Rankings: Rio Major 2020 and its own qualifiers, the tournament begins with a group stage before culminating in the Playoffs. With teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses, who would want to miss this?

The group phase of the cs_summit 6 Online Europe/North America commences on 22 and 23 June respectively, running daily all the way the Grand Finals on 5 and 6 July respectively. The broadcast will be available on the eGG Network TV channel, with online accessibility on Twitch and YouTube.

League of Legends: Pacific Championship Series Summer Split

Has it been that short of a time since the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) 2020 Playoffs ended with Talon Esports as victors? No matter, we aren’t complaining if we’re getting more LoL esports action. Lined up with the same 10 participating teams from the previous Split, the PCS 2020 Summer Split kickstarts with a double round-robin format that will determine the Top 8 teams advancing to the Playoffs. What are the odds that Talon Esports will defend their championship title?

The PCS 2020 Summer Split will be broadcast live every weekend starting 20 June with Week 2. The stream will be available on watch.lolesports.com, or you can opt to watch the telecast on the eGG Network TV channel every weekend from 27 June onwards.
